Appalachian State University's Chancellor Search Advisory Committee convened today (Thursday, August 15, 2024) to officially kick off the search for the next Chancellor.

On June 28, 2024, University of North Carolina System President Peter Hans announced the formation of the 13-member advisory committee.

The general public, along with App State students, faculty, staff and alumni, are invited to share their input into the search process for the next chancellor. The search committee offers opportunities for your input, including an online survey and in-person and virtual listening sessions. The listening sessions begin on Thursday, August 22, and run through Wednesday, August 28. A list of those sessions, along with more information, is available at this link.
