Jefferson, N.C. – The Ashe County Sheriff's Office is asking for yourhelp. On the evening of June 9th, 2025, Heather Smith failed toreturn home.
Heather began walking in the Frank Dillard/ HWY 163 area onSunday afternoon. She was seen around 7:30-8:00 p.m. and thenagain at 9:00 p.m. at the Corner Market in Jefferson. If you believeyou have seen her, please contact Ashe 911 Dispatch immediately.
