Boone, NC –A special meeting of the Boone Town Council will be held on Monday, February 5,2024 at 9 a.m. at Council Chambers located at 1500 Blowing Rock Road, Boone, NC 28607.

The purpose of the meeting will be to continue discussion on housing solutions within the Townof Boone, specifically related to land-use planning. The agenda for the day will be guided by thefollowing items:9 a.m.: approximately 90 minutes will be reserved for public comment and presentationsby invited stakeholder organizations.10:30 am: approximately 90 minutes will be reserved for any other public commentrelated to workforce housing.Following a brief lunch break, Town Council will enter into a work session for discussionbetween Town Council and Staff to discuss comprehensive housing strategies andsolutions related to land-use planning.
