WHAT…Very cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero expected.
WHERE…Portions of northwest North Carolina, southwest Virginia,and southeast West Virginia along and west of the Blue Ridge.
WHEN…From 7 AM Sunday to 10 AM EST Monday.
IMPACTS…The very cold wind chills could result in hypothermia orfrostbite if precautions are not taken. Frostbite and hypothermiamay occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these conditions.
