  • Until 530 PM EDT.

  • At 227 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to beginshortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain havefallen.

  • Some locations that will experience flooding include…Boone… North Wilkesboro…Sparta… Mc Grady…Wilbar… Traphill…Glendale Springs…

This includes the following streams and drainages…Cooks Creek, Cane Creek, Church Branch, Clear Branch, ChristianCreek, Bee Tree Branch, Beaverdam Creek, Big Sandy Creek, CampBranch, Basin Creek, Big Pine Creek, Brush Creek and Big BugabooCreek.
