2022-06-15T19:29:00-04:002022-06-15T22:30:00-04:00NWS Greenville-Spartanburg (Western North Carolina and Northwest South Carolina)Flood Advisory issued June 15 at 7:29PM EDT by NWS Greenville-Spartanburg* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.* WHERE…Avery and Mitchell counties in western North Carolina.* WHEN…Until 1030 PM EDT.* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…– At 725 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gaugesindicated heavy rain due to slowly moving thunderstorms.Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in theadvisory area.
