WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to bepossible.
WHERE…A portion of northwest North Carolina, including thefollowing counties, Alleghany NC, Ashe and Watauga.
WHEN…Through Wednesday morning.
IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
Periods of moderate to occasionally heavy rain will fall thisevening through Wednesday morning. Additional rainfall totalsare expected to range from 2 to locally 4 inches. Thegreatest potential for any flooding will be near the crest ofthe Blue Ridge.
