* WHAT…Significant icing. Ice accumulations around one quarterinch. Locations along and east of Highway 221 could see up to onehalf inch.
* WHERE…Avery County and the high elevations of Burke County.
* WHEN…Until 7 AM EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS…Ice accumulations could make many roads treacherous andimpassable. The weight of ice on tree limbs and power lines couldproduce numerous outages. The hazardous conditions could impactthe Tuesday morning and evening commutes.
