This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest North Carolina andsouthwest Virginia.

Locally heavy rainfall from showers and isolated thunderstorms can beexpected again today. Localized flooding will be possible in areas ofheavier rainfall.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday.
Rainfall chances will be on the increase over the weekend and intoearly next week as an upper trough combined with a weak frontalboundary stalled across the region and deep tropical moisture.Heavy rainfall is possible leading to an increased threat forflooding.
