This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast WestVirginia.

.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.

Dry and breezy conditions this afternoon could lead to increasedfire danger across the region. Fire Danger Statements are in effectfrom noon today through 6pm this evening in coordination with stateforestry services.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday.

A cold front moving through the region will bring light rain to thearea late Saturday changing to light snow Saturday night into Sundaymorning as colder air spreads into the region. Light snowaccumulations are expected across much of the area with slightlyhigher amounts possible along the Blue Ridge.
