This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest North Carolina,southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast WestVirginia.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected Tuesday afternoon, especiallycloser to the Blue Ridge. The stronger storms could producestrong wind gusts and small hail, but are expected to remain belowsevere limits at this time.

Another more significant threat for strong to severe thunderstorms andheavy rainfall is expected later in the week, especially Friday intoSaturday.
