This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,northwest North Carolina and southwest Virginia.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to accompany a coldfront through the region today. Locally heavy rainfall will bepossible with a few of these storms potentially resulting inlocalized minor flooding.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday.
Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

Limited spotter activation is possible today, mainly this afternoon,to provide reports of any minor flooding. Spotters, CoCoRahsobservers, and the public are encouraged to send rainfall reports tothe National Weather Service in Blacksburg.
