This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest North Carolina,southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast WestVirginia.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected each daythrough the week. Locally heavy and repeated rainfall in the sameareas will result in an increased threat for flooding and flashflooding through the week, especially across the mountains. A fewstorms could also become strong to severe with damaging wind gustsbeing the main hazard.

Spotter activation will be possible Monday through Friday at timesdue to the threat of flooding and/or flash flooding and isolated toscattered strong to severe thunderstorms. Rainfall reports fromspotters, CoCoRahs observers, and the public are appreciated.
