This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest North Carolina,southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast WestVirginia.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday.

Monday morning and early afternoon, southwest winds will be on theincrease across the area in advance of a cold front. Some gusts mayreach 35 to 45 mph, especially at the higher peaks and ridges. Whenthe front crosses Monday afternoon and evening, a line of heavyshowers is expected. Some of these showers may contain strong todamaging wind gusts and locally heavy rain. Isolated thunderstormsare also possible.
