This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest North Carolina,southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast WestVirginia.

There is a “slight” risk (level 2 of 5) for severe thunderstormsthis afternoon and tonight. The main hazard today with anythunderstorms would be damaging winds gusts and large hail. Locallyheavy rainfall is also possible with the stronger thunderstorms whichcould result in localized flooding.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday.
There is a “marginal” risk (level 1 of 5) for severe thunderstormsMonday. Again, the main hazard with any thunderstorms Monday would belarge hail and damaging wind gusts. Locally heavy rainfall will alsobe possible once again with the stronger thunderstorms, which couldresult in localized flooding.
