This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast WestVirginia.
.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.
A cold front will pass across the region today, triggering showersand widely scattered thunderstorms. A few thunderstorms will have thepotential of becoming severe for brief periods of time, and capableof producing locally damaging winds and, to a lesser extent, largehail.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday.
There is the potential for widespread rainfall on Friday andSaturday which may be heavy at times and could result in localizedflooding.
