This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast WestVirginia.
.DAY ONE…This afternoon and tonight.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected again today andtonight. Locally heavy rainfall and localized flooding will onceagain be the main concern. However, an isolated strong to severethunderstorm will also be possible this afternoon and early evening.The main concern with any severe thunderstorms would be damagingwind gusts.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday.
Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected eachday through the first half of next week. Locally heavy and repeatedrainfall in the same areas will result in a continued threat forflooding. An isolated strong to severe with damaging wind gusts ispossible, but the main concern remains that of heavy rainfall andassociated flooding.
