This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest North Carolina,southwest Virginia and southeast West Virginia.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Thursday through Tuesday.

Upslope snow showers will bring minor snowfall accumulation to thehigher elevations of the North Carolina Mountains, Western Slopes,and Mountain Empire Thursday night into Friday.

A winter storm is currently forecast to impact the region over theweekend, with timing mostly during the day Sunday. Accumulatingsnowfall is expected, with potentially significant accumulationsbecoming more likely. Travel disruptions would occur if heavier snowmaterializes. Stay tuned.
