This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north centralNorth Carolina, northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, southcentral Virginia, southwest Virginia, and west central Virginia.

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected again today,especially during the afternoon and evening. A few storms couldbecome strong to severe with damaging wind gusts being the mainhazard. Locally heavy rainfall is likely with the stronger stormswhich may lead to localized flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Thursday through Tuesday.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected eachday through the weekend. Locally heavy and repeated rainfall in thesame areas will result in an increased threat for floodingthrough the week. A few storms could also become strong to severewith damaging wind gusts being the main hazard.
