This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast WestVirginia.

There is a marginal risk (level 1 of 4) for excessive rainfall today.Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will develop mostly acrossmountain areas today, which may lead to some localized flashflooding threat.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday.
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will develop each afternoon andevening through the early half of next week. Each day, a few ofstorms will be capable of producing localized damaging wind gusts, aswell as heavy rain that may result in flash flooding.
