This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast WestVirginia.

There is a risk for strong to severe storms across the majority ofthe area this afternoon into evening. The main threat will bedamaging winds. Heavy rain and localized flooding is possible mainlywest of the Blue Ridge.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday.
The risk for severe storms continues on Sunday and Monday. The mainthreats on Sunday will be damaging winds and large hail. A tornadocannot be ruled out in the far east. Heavy rain and localizedflooding is possible mainly west of the Blue Ridge. The main threatson Monday will be damaging wind.
