This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,northwest North Carolina, southwest Virginia and southeast WestVirginia.

.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.

Widely scattered thunderstorms will develop this afternoon andevening. In addition to frequent lightning, there is a MarginalRisk, level 1 of 4, that these storms will produce heavy rain thatmay result in localized flash flooding. A few storms may alsoproduce strong winds gusts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday.

Thunderstorms will redevelop each afternoon and evening through muchof the week. A few of the stronger storms will be capable ofdamaging wind gusts and locally heavy rain that may result in flashflooding.
