This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,northwest North Carolina and southwest Virginia.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday.
Prolonged periods of heavy rainfall and localized flash floodingwill be possible across the mountains and foothills of northwestNorth Carolina into western Virginia. Rainfall amounts in excess of5 inches will be possible along the crest of the Blue Ridge innorthwest North Carolina, which may result in flooding of creeks andstreams.
