* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…Watauga County in northwestern North Carolina…Ashe County in northwestern North Carolina…
* Until 745 PM EDT.
* At 641 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a lineextending from 9 miles southeast of Bristol Va to 6 miles west ofElk Park, moving east at 35 mph. A wind gust of 59 mph wasobserved at the Tri-City Airport south of Bristol.
HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include…Boone…Jefferson…West Jefferson…Blowing Rock…Beech Mountain…Lansing…and Foscoe.
