Following the passage of a dry cold front on Thursday morning,relative humidity will fall into the low 30s and even upper 20s insome locations across the North Carolina Piedmont and Foothills.Winds will be gusty along and behind the front, so conditions willbe conducive meteorologically for the quick formation and spreadof fires. Fine fuel moisture is expected to plummet during thelate morning and early afternoon.
