At 619 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strongthunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles southeast ofBristol Va to near Hampton. Movement was east at 40 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow aroundunsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation ispossible.
Locations impacted include…Boone…Beech Mountain…Foscoe…Sugar Grove…Ashland…Beech Mountain In Avery County…and Seven Devils.
