Fog will be dense at times across the mountains and foothills ofVirginia and North Carolina, and moreso along the ridges.Visibilities will drop to less than a quarter mile at times, sothose traveling through 8pm should be alert of rapid changes invisibility. Winds picking up later this evening will erode thefog.
