At 652 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm overSugar Grove, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow aroundunsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects ispossible.

Locations impacted include…Boone…Beech Mountain…Foscoe…Sugar Grove…Todd…Seven Devils…and Rutherwood.
