…A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECTSOUTHEASTERN WATAUGA COUNTY…
At 141 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Aho, or nearBlowing Rock. The storm is nearly stationary.
Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with this storm. Very heavyrain is also occurring, which may cause ponding on roadways, as wellas poor visibility. Motorists are urged to drive through this areawith extreme caution.
Locations impacted include…Blowing Rock, Deep Gap, Blowing Rock In Caldwell County, Aho andMoses Cone Memorial Park.
