…INCREASED FIRE DANGER FROM NOON TO 8 PM EST TODAY…
Relative humidity is expected to decrease to the 15 to 25 percentrange across the western North Carolina and northeast Georgia bythis afternoon and early evening. Winds will increase during theafternoon hours, with occasional gusts to around 15 to 20 mph. Thiswill combine with dry vegetation to increase the potential forthe start and spread of wildfires across the area.
