…Areas of Fog Today…
Watch for areas of fog today which may result in sudden changesin the visibility. Dense fog is possible at times along the BlueRidge Parkway, and along I-77 near Fancy Gap. The fog is expectedto persist through the day, a result of easterly winds forcingvery moist air into the Blue Ridge, and causing the cloud base tolower and come into contact with the ground.
If driving, slow down, use your low-beam headlights and leaveplenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
