Movement was southeast at 35 mph.HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.SOURCE…Radar indicated.IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow aroundunsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects ispossible.Locations impacted include…Lenoir, Morganton, Sawmills, Granite Falls, Valdese, Gamewell,Hudson, Icard, Cajah`s Mountain and Drexel.MAX HAIL SIZE…0.25 INMAX WIND GUST…40 MPHIf outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may leadto localized flooding.
