Tornado Warning for…Caldwell County in western North Carolina…
Until 345 PM EDT.
At 301 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornadowas located 5 miles east of Lenoir, or near Hudson, moving north at30 mph.
HAZARD…Tornado.
SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught withoutshelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Treedamage is likely.
This dangerous storm will be near…Lenoir and Cedar Rock around 310 PM EDT.Blowing Rock In Caldwell County around 340 PM EDT.
Other locations impacted by this dangerous thunderstorm include KingsCreek, Patterson and Upton.
